| My name is Babe and I live in Wilmington with my family. I’m co-owned by Ellen Bishop and my breeders. I am fortunate to live in a family who loves big dogs. We have another mastiff and a Newfoundland. His name is Youkon and he has worked hard to teach me to swim. I find that I really like the water. Of course, no one ever told me I wasn’t a “newfie.” |

I’m 10 months old now and am showing lots of the size that is in my
pedigree. The boys in my pedigree are really large. My mom, however,
was only around 140-150 and I’m already larger than she was. I am
currently around 160# and around 31-32 inches tall.

| I have a
beautiful head with a jet black mask. I’m a very dark brindle. I have
great angulation and a very strong chest. I am a little soft in my topline
so when the time comes for me to become a mama, I’ll be looking for boys
with really, straight toplines. My front is wonderful. I’m currently
taking classes to learn about the show ring. They call them “handling
classes” and they’re not too bad because they give me treats. My family
has always said I was a chow hound, so bring on the treats. |
