I, Eric J Siebert,
breeder of record, agree to sell the above puppy for the sum of
$_______________, to the above named person(s).
I guarantee the puppy to be healthy and physically sound at the time of
the sale. The Buyer(s)
agree to have the puppy examined by a
veterinarian of their choice within 4 days of the date of sale. If the puppy
is found not to be in excellent health at this time, it may be returned
to me, along with a signed statement from the Veterinarian, for a full refund
of monies paid. The AKC registration papers will be sent to the
Buyer
after the veterinary exam and acceptance of the puppy by the buyer unless
another arrangement was made.
The purchase agreement is as follows:
Hips, elbows, CERF, DNA PRA testing or parents tested clear, thyroid, cardiac, vWd.
6. The
seller
demands that the puppy be enrolled in a
sanctioned dog confirmation or obedience
class and recommends that the puppy attend at least two
concurrent classes with the first
beginning no later than 4 months of age and buyer agrees to
abide by this demand.
FAILURE TO COMPLETE A MINIMUM OF
ONE OBEDIENCE COURSE AND PROVIDE
CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION WILL VOID ANY REFUND OF MONIES RELATING
TO ANY PERCEIVED TEMPERMENT PROBLEM SHOULD THE PUPPY EVER DEVELOP
A PROBLEM.

begin with WINDING RIVERS’.
8. The seller guarantees all show quality puppies to be free of hip
dysplasia. The buyer
agrees to
xray the
pup and have the x-rays examined by Penn Hip by 1 year of age. In the event
the tests
indicate hip dysplasia per Penn Hip, then the
buyer
may return the puppy for a puppy of equal
quality when available & if no
pup is available within 18 months, a full refund of the selling price
will be
returned to the buyer or the buyer may elect to keep puppy and seller
will refund the
difference between show and pet price after proof of the puppy being altered
is received. The
seller requires copies of the testing to be forwarded to them.
FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH
THESE
REQUIREMENTS WILL NULLIFY THE SELLER’S
GUARANTEE.
9. Pet quality puppies will be required to be altered unless alternate arrangements have been made with the seller.

In the event the owner is unable to keep the puppy for any reason, then
the breeder requires notification. If I am unable to
take the puppy back personally, I will do all I can to help find it a suitable
home. In the event that I am unable to take the
puppy back personally, then I will notify the stud owner to see if they
are available to take the pup. After which, I will begin
trying to locate a suitable home. In the event that the pup is returned, the
breeder will do all possible to resell the pup into a
suitable home and will refund buyer for whatever is obtained from the sale of
the pup minus any shipping, socialization, or vet bills.
FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THIS CONDITION WILL RESULT IN A BREACH OF CONTRACT.
11.
As it is difficult to ascertain color between apricot and fawn at 6-8
weeks of age, I do not make guarantee’s that the pup will be
apricot vs. fawn. I do my best to ensure color and I enlist others, in
addition to myself, to help determine the color the pup will be
at adulthood.
12.
The puppy is guaranteed to be free of PRA as both parents have been
tested genetically clear and do not carry the
gene for PRA.
13. In the event of the sell of a show potential puppy, the buyer agrees to make a concentrated effort
to finish the puppy.
14. The buyer
agrees to keep the Mastiff confined from traffic, provide adequate exercise,
keep
properly sheltered with adequate food and water, give love and attention
and provide adequate
Veterinary care. The buyer also agrees never to train as a
guard or attack dog for any reason.
The buyer agrees to provide pup with all veterinary recommended
vaccinations and to keep
vaccinations current. FAILURE TO PROVIDE RECOMMENDED
VACCINATIONS WILL
BE CONSIDERED BREACH OF CONTRACT AND BREEDER MAY
DEMAND
those that we co-own, may be listed on the breeders web page as Winding
River’s Dogs and copies of their testing and
registered name be provided to the breeder. Winding River’s agrees to list
the owners name as the buyer of the puppy on
said web page. Winding Rivers’ agrees that said puppy may in addition be
listed on the new owner’s page or any other
advertising mechanism related to the mastiff puppy.
The seller guarantees
only the condition of the puppy at the time of sale. The care and medical
treatment of this puppy is the
sole responsibility of the Buyer. The seller is not responsible for any
condition due to environmental factors or injuries to the
puppy after is leaves his/her care.
