My name is Rocky and I am a baby doll. I'm a deep red apricot, 32 1/2" tall and weigh 205#. I am solid muscle; even my vet says so, and we all know vets don't like fat dogs. I am very gentle, love kids and people, and am great at playing with all the new pups that show up around my house. When I finally get to meet the pups, I lie on the floor and gently roll them around. All the puppies want to meet me, but I'm smart enough to stay away from them until their mama say's it is OK. |

My
favorite human is Will. He's my buddy. He throws the football and I
get to chase it and bring it back to him. He lets me lie on the couch
with him and watch TV. He also lets me run all over the land and play
with his friends when they visit.

My claim to fame was being lost at a dog show when I was 11 months old in Salem, VA. Fireworks were set off over the parking lot where I and the other dogs were staying and we got scared. Boy, they sure make a lot of noise. But thanks to the wonderful folks of Salem Va, and my owners who rushed to Salem with pictures of me; as well as, the folks at the dog show ring, I was found 5 days later and returned to my owners. Since I had been lost, my owners were a little leery about letting me out of their sight, so I did not get to start showing again until August of 2001. I quickly picked up my minor points, followed by a 3 pt major and finished with a 5 pt major. I'm also a very healthy boy. I have passed all the tests for Gold Star Mastiff standards; as well as, the PRA test. |
